Holly Bailey’s background includes service as president of the Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA), and is an active member of various societies, including the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA). She holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Florida Atlantic University, and has an extensive knowledge of building science and indoor air quality (IAQ) issues. This is complemented by an impressive 29 years of mechanical engineering experience. 

During her career, Holly has addressed innumerable heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) and IAQ related issues while working on hundreds of residential, commercial, industrial and governmental projects. She has made a tremendous contribution to the indoor air quality industry, and has helped to create documents, standards and policies that underpin the activities that are considered to be good practice within the industry. Holly’s greatest strength lies in her ability to provide tangible solutions to industry problems, and implement them in short order. She offers a unique mix of practical experience and exceptional knowledge delivered in a cogent and incisive manner.

Holly is author of Fungal Contamination: A Manual for Investigation, Remediation and Control, otherwise referred to as THE Mold Manual.  This text is used by course providers, university professors, corporate trainers, and government entities world-wide as the one-stop shopping text for all you need to know to be an effective IAQ professional dealing with mold growth issues.
